The Genentech B59 gRide parking lot is the largest electric bus charging depot in all of Northern America. The parking lot improvement project includes the demolition of an existing parking lot and the construction of a new EV bus parking lot. It includes two new 4000A services, bus stalls with infrastructure for new active bus and vehicle chargers, future bus/vehicle chargers and both standard/ accessible parking stalls. The project also includes walkways for pedestrian access, new light poles, signage , four bio retention areas and a special habitat for monarch butterflies.
